Leiziger Society Chairman Thomas Krakow Elected President of the International Association of the Wagner Societies

The Austrian town of Graz hosts the international congress from Ascension Day until 1 June 2014. A qualified majority of the delegates voted for Thomas Krakow as the new president. The Leipzig historian will hold the presidency for five years, coinciding with the European Parliament legislative periode 2014-2019. A staggering 139 societies with nearly twenty-five thousand members make up the International Society, founded in Lyon 1991.
